About us

Bevans was founded in 1897 when Robert Bevan opened a store opposite Cardiff Castle selling bicycles and guns. After a few years he began selling motorcycles, first selling Triumph in 1913.

After over 100 years the company moved to new purpose built premises on Hadfield Road. Still a family business and now onto the fourth generation with Charlie at the helm and Geoff and Veronica still involved. We are very proud to have been around for well over 100 years. There are very few motorcycle dealers who can match this heritage. We see ourselves as a lot more than just somewhere to buy a motorcycle, a jacket or the latest shiny accessory. Somewhere to come for a coffee and a chat. With our new customer lounge we have a comfortable area for customers to relax and immerse themselves in the world of motorcycles. And for those new to motorcycling we have an onsite rider training school.

We are Wales’ only solus Triumph Dealer and stock the full range of Triumph motorcycles as well as a large selection of used motorcycles from all manufacturers. We also have a huge clothing and accessory department – we were the 2011 and 2013 Triumph Clothing Dealer of the year and the 2015 Triumph Accessories Dealer of the year. We love to personalise Triumphs so we always have lots of accessories on show along with a number of accessorised bikes to give you a little inspiration.
